We met with Stu the week of January 16th to create our 2017 budgets based on actuals from 2016 and projections of growth we anticipate for 2017 in order to keep a minimum level of profit for the year. During his visit we created incentives for the the Brokerage and Houger teams if they reach
out to our Customers to generate additional business. We also developed sales goals for the two sales men that we have on salary.
Every time Stu comes to visit he helps us prepare for the next level of business while keeping us on track with our commitments to the employees and holding them accountable. It is invaluable to me, as the CFO, to have Stu come out a couple times a year. I enjoy the enteraction and his approach to the numbers.
I would highly recommend Stu and Cogent to other businesses to help them plan for the future by developing budgets, creating sales and team goals along with developing process and procedures.
