We had plateaued in our company growth and seemed to be plagued by numerous small issues or problems throughout our organization that was sucking out a lot of our profit. The slowing of incoming projects underscored some of these problems but we seemed unable to land on a cohesive strategy to identify and begin to remediate these issues on our own. This was exacerbated by the fact that due to significant on-going health concerns with my wife, I could not work in, let alone on my business as I needed too. At best I was keeping my head above water, when we should have been thriving.
I have not done something like this before, so I had no idea what to expect or what to compare it too. The discovery process showed all the problems that I was aware of to some degree or another across all the different facets and departments (Sales, Design, Engineering, Plant floor, Installation) but more than simply naming them, it seemed that Cogent might be able to genuinely offer real working solutions for my business. That success was possible again, not just a ‘hope’.
The main goals were to restore the health of our business in part by ‘building in profit’ and give me the owner, the tools to effectively manage my business remotely. Larry came the following week and began to execute the plan. Very professional, direct, and helpful. I appreciate his personal insight, as well as the tools he brought & created with him through the CA team. It has been very involved, and somewhat time-consuming process, but I don’t see how it could have been done with less effort or time and still get good sustainable results.
This is resulting in an entirely new and improved company culture here! I am confident that we now have the tools, and the resources behind those tools to continue to implement and grow. To not simply satisfy our clients, but wow them, and if we don’t wow them, we have the tools to identify and correct those deficiencies. As this culture becomes our DNA, and our habit, with the reporting tools implemented, I am confident I will have the ability to manage all facets of my business remotely, efficiently and successfully.
