Karen graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Sustainable Development and has a background in retail, hospitality and agriculture. She has always been passionate about supporting small businesses because she understands that their success can really impact people’s lives and their local economies in a positive way.
Since joining the Cogent team in 2018 as a Business Development Coordinator, Karen has since worked within many areas of the company in support of leadership and clients. Her continued growth and dedication to Cogent’s mission has advanced her into the current position she holds as Data Analyst.
In her free time, Karen enjoys puzzles, cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her husband and fur children by the pool.
