Joel Steindel has always been a starter with an entrepreneurial vision. He thrives on taking an idea from concept on to implementation, then fine-tuning it into an exceptional product or program. He excels in developing projects and relationships, embracing challenges and setting goals and following them through to realization. His strengths include vision to find unique avenues to execute an idea, and developing a rapport with people that leads to comfort, trust, and a platform for collaboration. Finding mutual benefit and common objectives with others, as well as patience to find the best path for long-term success is key. He believes that growth, understanding and change come in both small and large packages, but looking past the surface to the foundational framework is always vital.
He has 30+ years experience in managing businesses and has filled many roles including manager, administrator, chairman, president, owner and COO. His businesses have received recognition for sales superiority, market penetration and innovation excellence. His Bachelors is from Houghton University and his Masters from Southwestern. A skilled presenter, Joel has been a frequent speaker for conferences, radio programs and events. He finds ways to innovate and simplify for the overall good. Starting with a “big-picture” view and breaking it down into established goals, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities provides him with a platform for progress. Taking a client-first approach with integrity is core to how he works. Peers and employees find him empathetic, easy to work with, goal-oriented and someone who gets things done with a lead-by-example mentality.
Of fundamental significance in life for Joel are faith, family and friends. He is married with two grown children and has many great friends. Born outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, home for the last 30 years has been Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is a lifelong learner and grasps things quickly. His spare time activities include coaching baseball, competing in whatever game is handy (and winning), and following his Pittsburgh Pirates.
