Phillip Athens brings over 20 years of progressive leadership experience to his role as Project Director at Cogent Analytics. His career began in the United States Army, where he excelled at leading teams in the planning and execution of critical military operations. This foundation instilled in him a robust set of skills in operations management, strategic planning, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
With a focus on leadership development and project management, Phillip has successfully guided numerous organizations to achieve significant improvements in performance and efficiency. He has a talent for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs that enhance team capabilities and drive organizational success.
Educationally, Phillip holds a BA in History from Weber State University and is on track to complete his MS in Organizational Performance and Workplace Learning from Boise State University. Outside of work, Phillip enjoys spending time with his large family in Kaysville, UT.
