Tariq is a strategic, engaged and a forward-facing executive bringing over 30 years of achievements across international markets. Tariq has been an active volunteer member of a newly formed Credit Union where he plays a strategic role in the start up and ongoing operations. He is a member of the founding committee and holds key positions on the Credit Committee, Investments Committee, and the ALCO Committee. He was instrumental in the initial set up of all operations and procedures for the Credit Union and is involved in the day-to-day decisions on an ongoing basis.
Tariq was approached by the SBA to process disaster loans for small businesses during the Pandemic. He was involved in helping small businesses identify financing needs during the pandemic. Reviewing customer financial statements and business requirements and then approving loans to meet their business needs. At times assistance was provided to the small businesses on how to plan for future business, projections and forecasts.
Tariq has been a small business owner and empathizes with the needs of these crucial businesses. This deli was a “hobby” for Tariq, and he ran this remotely while involved in his main employment. The business was located in a prime mall in Chicago and was part of a 19-group franchise.
Tariq, managed a team to deliver sales and service to Corporate, Investment and High Net Worth individuals. He managed many strategically important relationships and dealt with C level executives. He was a member of the senior management committee. Through his interactions with the customers Tariq, was responsible for on going monitoring and due diligence for the accounts.
Tariq calls Flemington, New Jersey home and is a passionate Liverpool FC supporter. He plays soccer and cricket in what spare time he has.
