Yaw Ananga is a Baltimore, MD resident by way of Ghana in West Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, a Master of Engineering from North Carolina State University at Raleigh, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Yaw has spent the last 15 years providing advisory and consulting services to executives across a broad spectrum of organizations across many industries and the public sector and prides himself on being able to relate to the challenges of employees from the ground floor to executive officers in companies of all sizes.
Yawo’s diverse experiences and skill in using data to drive business and managerial decisions, analytical background and expertise in the people side of implementing change has equipped him with the tools to actualize the hard changes required to solve complex business problems.
Yaw’s adopted mantra is “failing to plan means planning to fail” and “the marriage of data and understanding people is a recipe for success” and makes it an imperative to make leaders understand the change management process to ensure the entire organization can navigate transitions smoothly. Yawo firmly believes that an understanding of the process helps determine and mitigate the potential impact of any organizational changes and prepare teams accordingly.
Yaw Ananga is a long-time resident of Baltimore. In his free time, he is an avid reader of philosophy and theological treatises and enjoys tournament Scrabble®, road biking, traveling the world and is an all-around sports fan who previously traveled to the mecca of soccer, Brazil to watch the World Cup.
