Starting and growing a business is difficult, to say the least, and has its challenges. As the business gets started, it is likely the owner is the only employee and every activity is the owner’s responsibility. Naturally, they do everything the only way they know how. There comes a point where there are not enough hours in the day or days in the week to do everything required to be done. At this point, they have no choice but to delegate responsibilities and authorities to others while continuing to build the organization to fulfill its responsibilities to its customers and remain profitable.
