I would like to thank Cogent Analytics for their continued efforts in helping Avenue C Glass, LLC work towards the desired profit levels and flow of our company. From the first time that I met with Bret, I knew that this was going to be a great plan for both my company as well as myself moving forward. Prior to meeting with Bret, I personally had given much thought to this process knowing that there was someone who could help but not knowing how to get there. As I believe in my personal life and professional life, I believe that everything happens for a reason so let me assure you that when Cogent reached out to me via phone call the first time, I was searching for that someone to assist me with what I knew that I needed so again, thank you to everyone involved that made that phone call happen and in turn began this process that we have been working on.
In regards to the project itself, working with Stu has been an absolute pleasure. He is extremely efficient with his time and understands completely that he must work with my time as I run my company on a daily basis. There were multiple times throughout this project that my time was extremely difficult to come by and Stu continued to push the project through even when I personally thought that it had stalled. He reassured me that it had not and that we were absolutely going to make the dates necessary for the deliverables to be completed. We did that and it was certainly because of Stu and not myself. I made my time available to him as much as I possibly could and even through some illness and personal matters with my vacation tucked in between, we still worked through it and made it happen. Again, that was because Stu kept driving that even when I attempted to push the week of my vacation back a week, Stu came up with a way to get done what was needed during that time that did not require me being at work during those times.
In regards to the deliverables specifically, there was no doubt that Stu followed the program and followed the time frame in which they needed to be completed. I certainly understand that every company is different and every client is different in their own right and that is not an easy thing to accomplish. The primary things that I am wanting to complete are much closer to being implemented entirely and will be in the coming weeks. Those items were ones that Stu worked on with me continuously to get them where I wanted them to be and ultimately, that was the primary goal. Stu has given me everything that I need to make sure that those things happen and I am very grateful.
Throughout this process, I have learned many things about running a business that I was not aware even existed and Stu did an outstanding job of explaining those things to me as we went along. I do believe that there are some areas of my company that are not black and white and that some of the items don’t necessarily apply as they are. I also believe that each of them apply in some aspect or in their entirety and I have implemented them and will continue to do so until they are exactly as needed. Because Stu was here for an extended amount of time, he also understands that and will work with me on anything that I need moving forward.
Again, thank you to Cogent Analytics for working with us to make our company better across the board. In particular, the people that talked with me and understood exactly what I was dealing with and that is Bret, Sandra and Stu. All of them were wonderful to work with and I am looking forward to working with Cogent and Stu for a long time to come.
