We’ve been a partner with Cogent Analytics since 2018.
They have assisted our team with many facets of our business including an accounting system conversion, inventory management, budgeting processes, management training, profit planning, and overall performance improvement systems throughout our business.
The reason we chose Cogent over any other firm was the commitment to their clients and straight forward approach. When you hire Cogent, they become a business partner for life and they are always available to assist. We rely on their assistance to complete tasks that we either don’t have the time to do ourselves or we don’t have the expertise to execute. They always look at our existing processes and only suggest changes when they truly think an improvement can be made. The discovery with Merlin has been an invaluable part of the process in grading our company and pushing the direction we should be going. His no nonsense approach is greatly appreciated.
On this engagement, Zack introduced a lot of processes and documentation to help further increase the value of the company. These items included due diligence, budgeting, accountability measures (financial and operational), and training/retention. We’ve begun implementing these changes and Zack has outlined a plan to continue monitoring our progress. Zack is a wealth of knowledge and we look forward to working with him going forward.
