Our company, GeoSurvey, Ltd. gained great insight into many different levels of our business during our engagement with Cogent. Chuck and the team at Cogent took a deep dive into our operations, our people, and our finances. We came away with a better understanding of our business and how to operate it. Cogent provided analysis, training and guidance in areas of personnel, accounting, strategic planning, and budgeting. We felt that Chuck had our best interest in mind and tailored the training to our need.
With the knowledge and tools we have been provide by Cogent, we feel like we are in a better position to grow the company and defend against unknown changes in the market. With Chuck’s help we have developed key performance indicators specific to our business. We now have the ability to track our profitability more closely and make informed decisions about growing the business.
Most important is what we have learned about developing our team. We are modifying our hiring, and onboarding processes with the information we gained. We have also developed a skills matrix, evaluation forms, and incentive programs intended help develop our most important asset which is our people. We expect these improvements to have the greatest effect on our bottom line.
