As you are aware, we have just finished our project with Mick Stohr. Prior to Mick’s arrival both my brother and I were ready to sell the company and retire. After 35+ years we are both tired and bored with the day to day aspect of running the business. While we are still very profitable we lacked direction and as a consequence our sales were declining. We had three salesman running around in different directions with no common target or purpose.
After 6+ weeks with Mick, we now have a new sales brochure, a new website, new sales tools for the salesmen, we have opened a new territory, hired a new salesman, have a new focus on what we want to achieve and most importantly a new outlook for the future of our company. We have revamped several inside processes to streamline our order processing and to free up time for our outside salesmen to prospect new accounts.
I am re-energized and excited to move forward. I guess I just needed someone to kick me in the butt and Mick did this expertly. My experience with Mick while tenuous at times was exactly what I needed to get moving again. Many of our new ideas came directly from Mick and on some we compromised.
All in all it was money well spent and our future is looking bright again.
