At SSS Printing, we were a little skeptical that a consulting company would be able to understand and add valuable input for our company. As a fourth-generation printer, and with many 30+ year tenured employees, I thought we knew our business better than anyone. As it turned out, many of our business as usual habits were holding us back, and rooted in a resistance to change.
Our project director, Tiffany Wright, showed us which jobs were profitable, and which ones we needed to be repriced or eliminated. Employee surveys were circulated and collected. My management team received some expected feedback, but the majority was surprising in both honesty and accuracy. We expected that it would take a very long time to implement changes, and again Tiffany proved us wrong. She was able to precisely sort through large amounts of information, and make necessary changes at a rapid pace.
We enjoyed working with Tiffany and Cogent Analytics. She is extremely intelligent, and yet she possesses the ability to explain her ideas in a clear accurate manner, so that all my employees were able understand. Everyone in my organization enjoyed working with her as Cogent’s representative. She created a detailed action plan and held us to a timeline. She forced us to work together as a team to make progress.
