My experience with Cogent started with a cold call. I decided to have a meeting and was very interested with their ideas for improving my company. I agreed to do the 3 day evaluation. Wade came in for 3 days and went over the financials, had meetings, and observed our processes. This was a helpful process alone, after this we came up with goals for the business, and personal “whys” for change.

I agreed to go through with Cogent for the consulting services, and Lorenzo was in my office the next Monday to start. He was a great asset from the beginning, we first looked into operations and found where a few changes could increase productivity. We started leadership training the very first week and started having conversations and input on the new changes that were occurring. We did pivot our initial ideas of where our needs were. We decided we had to focus on Business Development. Matt became involved and started sales training, and lead generation.

We are a seasonal business and we have hit some tough times and hard decisions during the intense period while Lorenzo has been on site. It has been helpful having the sounding board to bounce ideas off and to help come up with good strategies to work through these issues using the tools that Cogent has helped provide. The CMS and break even model to keep everything in perspective in making the daily/ weekly decisions has been extremely helpful.
