Going into this, I was a bit skeptical as to how this could benefit my company. I knew there were some things I was lacking as a business owner, but in my mind, it was more along the lines of SOPs, KPIs, and employee manuals. After being with Monty, Ron, Pete, and others via Zoom calls and the accountant Nick, it was apparent that there was way more to be concerned about than just operations. Basically, the way that we had been managing this company with “0” metrics was not sustainable. Now, with the guidance resources and understanding of what we were lacking, I believe that moving forward, we will be more successful than we have ever been. No one has ever taught me how to manage a business or my wife how to do the books. We just did the best that we could with what we knew. With the newfound tools, knowledge, and understanding, I am excited to implement these things as quickly as possible. This time of year for HVAC is slow, so the $101,000 investment in this has been a necessary step to right the ship and set this company on a path to success. I appreciate everyone’s time, patience, professionalism, and understanding that this was not an easy thing for us to do. But in my opinion, it will be worth every penny when everything is set in motion.
