We can now see “that’s how we always did it” way of doing things is no longer acceptable.

We were first contacted by Cogent Analytics in October of 2025 and had a sit down with Griff Roberts who explained the service and process of how Cogent Analytics operates and can serve Rino’s Woodworking Shop. Our company is in its 44th year of operation and I am a natural skeptic often doubtful that anyone could know my business better. I had no idea that saying yes to that meeting with Griff would have changed my company and myself in such a dramatic way.

Griff introduced us to Wade Rogers who took us through a 3 day discovery journey. The discovery process is to highlight areas of improvement within the company and within ourselves. What are you doing well and what could you do better? We knew that we could and needed to do better but were unable to determine those areas or implement the processes to make those changes.

This brought us to Zack Al-Mahayni. Zack has spent the last few months looking into opportunities in our business. Zack has helped us refocus and reorganize labor, establishing accurate schedules, clear up financials, and develop better financial reporting. The most valuable tool that Zack brought was to help our management team change and to help me change.

We can now see “that’s how we always did it” way of doing things is no longer acceptable. Zack has given us tools to be more focused and intentional on all aspects of our operation. From bidding to collecting final payment and all steps in between. Our comfort zone is gone and new opportunities await.

My biggest regret in working with Zack at Cogent Analytics is that I did not start this process 4 years ago. We now know the financial and labor management tools that Zack has put in place here at Rino’s Woodworking Shop will help our company grown for the next 40 years ahead.

May God’s blessing be upon us and the efforts of the people at Cogent Analytics!

Humbly,

Daniel Ritosa
