I received my first call from Cogent Analytics a little over one year ago. The woman on the line was introducing me to the company and explaining the services they offered. She asked if it was something I might be interested in, and if she could arrange for someone to come to my office and meet me and provide more information.

As a small business owner with little to no business experience, I was at a low point, worried and stressed about the financial management for our relatively new business. This called seemed like an answer to prayer. The meeting that was supposed to last 15-20 minutes turned into 90 minutes and by the end I made the decision to work with Cogent Analytics. After all, what did I have to lose? The answer was simple…nothing and I had everything to gain.

After having analysts learn more about our company and my concerns/issues, I was assigned to work with Kelsey Harris. She developed a business plan with clear expectations for me. I was provided with, and taught to use, multiple tools that helped my partner and I make good financial decisions based on sound, tried and true business practices.

In the year I have been working with Cogent, I have gained confidence in my ability to manage all aspects of our company’s financials. My stress and worry have lessened considerably, and even though I am now in the maintenance stage of the plan, I know I can reach out to Kelsey with any question or concern that arises, and she will give me advice I know I can trust.

I am extremely thankful and appreciative of their understanding of our company’s needs and their step-by-step instruction, advice, and guidance as I work toward reaching our goals.
