It takes trust to open up a company, a family, to the outside. Allowing the Cogent team to come work alongside us for the better part of two months has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. Through discovery with Chris and Arlon, the relationships we’ve built with Dondi and her team have been impactful in so many ways.

There’s a side to business that can feel sterile if you weren’t born with the analysts brain, and I was not. Dollars, cents, margins and percentages, measuring everything and understanding what those things mean. These things are necessary, and without Cogent we would still be flying blind. I am fully confident that our investment will pay for itself very quickly.

But the part that matters most to us is even harder to measure. The change in the team. The way people feel about their work, about each other, and about the company. We are more unified in purpose, more productive, and more empowered. That has changed what it feels like to show up every day, not only for myself, but for all of us.
