Highland Security & Investigations, LLC began its journey as a simple owner-operator company. Having spent seven years in the United States Navy and thirteen years in the Air Force as law enforcement, I am a Private Investigator and Security Provider, which is what I can do best. Now, you would think after all the training and time spent around the world, running a security company in the civilian world would be a piece of cake, well, not so much. As the tenth year approached, I realized the company was barely feeding itself and could bottom out at any time. Just so happens a Mr. Paul Courtamanche calls out of the blue, as if it were divine intervention.

A week later, I met with Mr. Brian Norton, an analyst from the Cogent Analytics Discovery Team. Brian came in like an old friend who knew my plight and how to fix it. After spending three days together, I was reintroduced to the light at the end of the tunnel and a feeling of relief. Brian promised me a top-notch Cogent Analytics Implementation Specialist, and boy, did I get one. Mr. Vince Botto arrived to teach me the tools to carry my business into the future and pass it on to my sons. Vince has become one of the family here at Highland and things seem off when he is not around. Vince was able to identify several areas where Highland could start prospering at once, and others that would help usher in a new era, going from small business into the corporate world. For me, learning all the new processes and procedures from him has been a blast as well as eye opening. This is now a team effort between Highland Security & Investigations, LLC and Cogent Analytics that will last throughout the years to come. Even when Vince’ s time here at our location is done, Cogent and Vince have made a promise to assist when and if I need them.
